NYC’s Original Comic Con Returns Saturday, November 21, 2026, for a Spectacular Holiday Celebration of Comics, Collectibles, Art, Cosplay, and Pop Culture!

NEW YORK, NY: For 30 years, New York born and New York owned, Big Apple Comic Con has been part of the fabric of New York City’s comic-book and pop-culture world. This November, NYC’s original comic con returns to the magnificent Art Deco New Yorker Hotel for its 6th Annual Holiday Con, Saturday, November 21, 2026.

A holiday party, a collectors’ paradise, an artists’ showcase, and a celebration of everything comics and pop culture, the Big Apple Holiday Con brings together generations of fans, creators, and collectors for a uniquely New York experience.

Over 100 exhibitors, artists, special guests, and cosplayers will fill the convention with rare comics, original artwork, non-sports trading cards, vintage treasures, contemporary collectibles, extraordinary costumes, gifts, prizes, and surprises. The show also features dozens of talented emerging artists from the New York area, continuing BACC’s long tradition of bringing established legends and new creative voices together under one roof.

AN EXTRAORDINARY LINEUP OF COMIC ART LEGENDS AND CONTEMPORARY CREATORS!

This year’s Holiday Con brings together an outstanding collection of legendary creators, award-winning artists, writers, and some of today’s most exciting talents:

• Larry Lieber: founding brother of Marvel Comics, artist and writer, co-creator of Thor, Iron Man, and Ant-Man, Larry is presenting his new novel Chirps.
• Jim Steranko: Revolutionary Marvel artist and master of surreal imagery whose groundbreaking visual storytelling transformed comic-book art.
• Dave Dorman: Eisner Award-winning illustrator and one of the most celebrated Star Wars artists of all time.
• Alitha Martinez: Eisner Award-winning visionary artist whose work includes World of Wakanda, X-Men, Moon Girl, and Black Panther.
• Jose Luis Garcia Lopez: the artist who has defined the look and ideals of DC Comic’s superheroes for 40 years. Jose is DC Comic
• Kyle Willis: An utterly original pop-culture artist whose acid-drip imagery, mosaics, dork graffiti, and extraordinary variant covers have created a distinctive new visual language.
• Amy Chu: Award-winning writer and Alpha Girl Comics creator whose remarkable range includes Red Sonja, Poison Ivy, and Carmilla: The First Vampire.
• Larry Hama: A genuine transmedia legend: writer, editor, artist, actor, and musician whose work spans I. Joe, Wolverine, X-Men, and decades of popular entertainment.
• Sozomaika: Visionary multidisciplinary artist whose distinctive digital imagery brings together fine art, fashion, comics, and contemporary pop culture. An original — there’s no one quite like her.
• Larry Welz: Underground comics master, creator of the outrageous Cherry Poptart and Captain Guts.
• Billy Tucci: Inkpot and Eisner Award-winning creator of the celebrated comic-book saga Shi, with work including Rock and A Child Is Born.
• Jamal Igle: Inkpot Award-winning writer and artist, creator of Molly Danger, co-creator of Venture, and artist and co-creator of the award-winning The Wrong Earth.
• Bob Sharen: Legendary Marvel colorist whose remarkable career spans thousands of comic-book stories and some of the industry’s most memorable characters.
• Nik Virella: Dynamic and innovative comic-book artist whose work includes Wolverine, Hyperion, and 1872.
• Jim Salicrup: Celebrated former Marvel editor and writer whose extraordinary career includes work on Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Avengers, and X-Men, as well as a leading editorial role at Topps Comics.
• Kristen Gudsnuk: Writer and artist behind the groundbreaking Henchgirl and the acclaimed Making Friends
• Mike DeCarlo: Acclaimed comic-book artist and inker whose work helped define an era of DC Comics, from Batman to Looney Tunes.
