“Tha True Original Gata” is referred to affectionately as The First Black Scream Queen. This actress and pro-wrestler (House of Hardcore and Impact Wrestling) was also the first black “Tromette” in many of Lloyd Kaufman’s Troma Entertainment films. She is recognized for her recent role as “Caliban” from Troma Entertainment’s “#Shakespeare’s Sh*tstorm” and has been in over 150 film and television projects. She wears many hats including publishing, promotion, photography, internet radio, fitness, production, and, of course, pro-wrestling. She was trained and worked side by side with WWE ECW legend Tommy Dreamer from 2012 to present. She is currently commissioner for an Illinois based wrestling promotion called NWR (New Wrestling Revolution) Monique is also internationally known for her horror themed burlesque performances.
