Mike Vallely is an American-born Musician and Hall of Fame Skateboarder. He started skateboarding in 1984 at age 14 and turned professional in 1987. He is a street skating pioneer and the founder of Street Plant, a skateboard company he runs out of his home in Des Moines, Iowa, with his wife of 31 years, Annie. He has been writing and performing music since 1985, and in 2014, he became the lead vocalist for the seminal punk group Black Flag Mike arrives at the BACC with his highly acclaimed new graphic novel Blvd of the Eagles.
