Big Apple Comic Convention, NYC’s original comic con now in our 28^th year, is proud to announce our  4th Annual Holiday Con, a party convention with loads of gifts, prizes, and special events to open and celebrate the Holiday Season and NYC’s all season love affair with the world of comics and pop culture collectibles with our fans.

The BACC Holiday Con features over 100 exhibitors, artists, guests, and cosplayers, with a special focus on talented up and coming artists from the NYC area.

This year we are partnering with Crash Media Partners the supercharged popular art promoters Scott Mauriello and Chris Parente will  bring their years of knowledge to bear on the BIG APPLE Comic Con with exciting new guests and events including:

• Al Kahn the man who brought the multi-billion-dollar Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! Japanese anime franchises to the world outside of Japan;
• an entire warehouse (in a dedicated 1200sq ft event room) of top grade collectibles from the legendary Joe Koch and Forbidden Planet;
• and a completely new Independent Creators Alley (ICA) to give small and independent creators an opportunity to bring their work to a broad mainstream audience at BIG APPLE Comic Con.

All this plus an all-star guest line up including:

• Inkpot and Eagle award winning artist/writer Howard Chaykin (Star Wars, Captain America)
• Animation king Bill Plympton (fresh from winning the LA animation festival 2023).
• The master of Spy vs Spy and cartoon genius Peter Kuper.
• Eisner Award winner Alitha Martinez (World of Wakanda, X-Men, Moon Girl, Black Panther)
• Underground Comics legend Larry Welz (Cherry Poptart, Captain Guts)
• Magical voice of a thousand characters Marc Thompson (Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Transformers)
• Mr Monopoly voice actor Tony Waldman
• Seinfeld’s own John O’Hurley and the voice  of King Neptune on SpongeBob  and other characters.
• Bill Tucci Inkpot Award winner, creator of the phenomenal saga Shi (also Sgt Rock. A Child is Born)
• Nik Virella the innovative and spectacular art sensation (Wolverine, Hyperion, 1872)
• Ever sparkling super talented actor/podcaster all around mensch Ming Chen.
• Aaron Reynolds the creator of the bestselling phenom Effin’Birds
• Sean Chen visionary creator of EVERMIND and innovative artist for Wolverine, Electra, X-Men
• Eisner, Inkpot and Harvey award winner Joe Staton (Batman, Justice League, too many to list)
• Bob Camp cartoonist, Artist, director 2X Emmy nominee (Ren and Stimpy, Sponge Bob, Conan)
• Ken Landgraf artist for the greatest vigilante comic of all time New York City Outlaws (Wolverine)
• Michael Fife creator/writer/artist of the action series COPRA (also Bloodstrike  Brutalists, Zegas)
• Extraordinary Cosplayer, Wrestler, actor, internet radio Monique “GATA’ Dupree
• Charles Forsman creator of Revenger, Celebrated Summer, Slasher, and Automa.

There will be a dedicated Pokemon event room for players and voice actors, and the Balcony will be our dedicated to the Independent Creators Alley (ICA)

And how about an Archie Themed Cosplay Contest (are you ready for some real kitch).

This will be our best show ever, as usual in the fabulous Art Deco Wyndham New Yorker Hotel.  Maybe Santa will show early this year.

The BACC is a collectible dreamworld event, a national hub for collectors and traders, with some of the greatest collectible books are exhibited, and traded.

All of this in the spacious ballrooms of the Art Deco masterpiece New Yorker Hotel (481 8^th Ave @34^th St).
